Salary - Actual Range - £18,958 - £20,931
35 hrs per week Split shift 7.00am – 9.00am then 1.00pm to 6.00pm each day

The Governors of Lower Park school wish to appoint an enthusiastic and trustworthy person to undertake the demanding, but varied role, of Site Maintenance Officer at our happy school. Lower Park prides itself on children who are eager and enthusiastic about learning, their friendships and about coming to school. The successful candidate will be expected to work well as part of a team and contribute to maintaining and improving the school environment with energy, warmth and a sense of humour.
You will be expected to undertake the efficient maintenance of the buildings and site, including minor repairs and improvements, monitor and operate site engineering systems, organise and monitor the work of contractors, ensuring site security and health and safety systems across the school.
There will be a split shift arrangement in the term time working day, 7.00am until 9.00am, then 1.00pm until 6.00pm is preferred, this can be discussed at interview. There is also the opportunity to work additional hours to support school life. The candidate will also liaise with the school Health & Safety Officer.
