Sophie D, Year 6, competed in the North West Elite Level 3 competition held in Warrington on 7th March. She finished 2nd out of the whole North West and secured a place as part of the North West team who will compete at the National Finals held in Birmingham in May. This is a fantastic achievement for Sophie and we are very proud of her. Good luck in the finals Sophie!

Running
The coach from Dash Athletics Club has informed our Head Ian Coulson that at the weekend (28th Feb/1st April) the club competed in the North West League Final for Sports Hall Athletics in Wigan. The team came 3rd in the North West to gain the bronze medal and our own Sam D played a major part as a member of this successful team. Sam competed really well and is a great team member - he always turns up for training and works really hard. Well done Sam!

Boys' Football - 26th November
Our football team was successful in winning the Power League tournament and progressing through to the next round of the North West competition. Well done to the children in the team and a big pat on the back to Miss Jenkins who really enjoyed the first taste of success with the footballers as their manager.
