To enhance their World War 2 history topic, Lower Park children from Year 3 and 4 dressed in period clothes and spent a day at the Stockport Air Raid Shelters and the War Museum. Click here to see how our evacuess got on.
Year 5 and 6 also visted the Air Raid Shelters and the War Museum. They learned about rationing, shelters, making do with what you had, gas masks and even learned songs from the war. Click here for photos and singing.
There was a fantastic Seaside Day in the second last week of June 2008 when children laid out towels, played in sand pits and enjoyed traditional beach games. Click here to see more photos.
